Returns & Refund Policy

At Yakobi Fragrance, every scent is crafted to order with care. Please review our policy before placing your order.


1. Final Sale & Change of Mind

  • All purchases are final sale.

  • We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for change of mind or personal preference.


2. Faulty or Damaged Goods

Under Australian Consumer Law, you’re entitled to a remedy if your product:

  • Has a major failure (e.g. broken sprayer, cracked bottle).

  • Is significantly different from its online description.

How to lodge a claim:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@yakobifragrance.com.au.

  2. Include your order number, clear photos of the issue, and a brief description.

  3. We’ll assess your claim within 3–5 business days.

Approved remedies:

  • Replacement of the same item (postage reimbursed).

  • Full refund of the purchase price (including return postage).

If a product is found not to be faulty, it will be returned to you at your expense.


3. Returned Parcels

If your parcel is returned due to an incorrect address or non-collection:

  • Reship: We can resend your order for a postage fee determined by Yakobi.

  • Refund: We’ll refund the product price minus a 20% restocking fee.


4. Shipping Costs for Returns

  • Faulty items: We reimburse return postage once your claim is approved.

  • Non-faulty: You’re responsible for all return shipping costs.


5. Your Rights Under ACL

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law cannot be excluded. For major failures, you may choose replacement or refund; for minor issues, you may request repair, replacement, or refund.
