The Yakobi Way

Our Process

Trends

Being aware of current trends in the perfume market is essential. While we have our own concepts, overlooking market trends would be an oversight. Identifying these trends enables us to effectively meet customer preferences. Stay informed, as we intend to introduce new and captivating fragrances.

Consumer Demand

Researching trends and trying new fragrances is a key method for selecting our fragrances. Customer feedback often inspires us, guiding our choices. Our responsiveness to customer preferences is paramount.

Gender Preferences

Understanding gender-based fragrance preferences is a key aspect of our process. Women typically prefer floral, citrus, and fruity notes, while men are more attracted to woody, citrus, and floral scents. These insights help us select fragrances that resonate with our diverse customer base. Ultimately, our goal is to have perfumes that align with our customers' preferences.

Seasons

Seasonality plays a pivotal role in the perfume market.  Perfume enthusiasts typically gravitate toward lighter, refreshing scents in spring and summer, and richer, woody, or oudy notes in autumn and winter. We cater to every season and whilst we may find ourselves in one season, in Australia that can change overnight.

Quality

Quality is at the heart of what we do. We strive to produce high-quality perfumes that meet the expectations of discerning customers. However, premium ingredients come at a premium price. Yakobi offers a range of fragrances to cater to different budgets, providing affordable options without compromising on quality.

Quantity

Yakobi has opted to produce smaller quantities with a high concentration of 45%. We put more back into our fragrances for you.  So we keep things simple, like web design, packaging, and so on. This balance helps us create perfumes while maintaining a sustainable business.
